When you're running low, a new tablet turns up, plastic-free and letterbox-sized. No single-use bottle, no shipped water, nothing to bin — just plant- and mineral-based formulas that get the job done.

That's the whole idea. Our formulas are plant- and mineral-based, made without the harsh extras you'll find in a lot of traditional cleaners — no SLS or SLES, no microplastics, no long list of things you can't pronounce. Just what's needed to leave your home clean and fresh, and nothing that isn't. They're gentle enough for an everyday home — kids, pets and all. As with any household product, keep them out of reach of little hands and follow the label, but you won't need a hazmat approach to wash your hands or wipe a counter.

Because the old way is a little absurd when you stop and look at it: heavy plastic bottles, mostly water, shipped across the world, used once, and binned. Refillable skips all of that. You keep one bottle, top it up with a flat, plastic-free tablet, and the same product shows up again and again — without the pile of plastic. It's better for your home and lighter on the planet, but it's also just easier: no running to the shop when you're low, no cupboard full of half-used bottles. Blank Habit is designed and developed in Oslo — the idea, the formulas, the scents, and the standards we hold every ingredient to. That part is proudly Norwegian, and always will be.

To make them, we work with some of the most skilled people in the world at what they do — a specialist team in China with deep expertise in concentrated, plastic-free tablet formulation, fine fragrance and green chemistry. It's that craft that lets us deliver soap that's genuinely mild, plant-based, SLS- and SLES-free and microplastic-free, batch after batch.
